Distinct Distillers are, as the name suggests, challenging themselves to create points of difference through the spirits they make. From sustainable practices, to pioneering filtration techniques, it was clear that the ambition to be different needed to be reflected in the way they present themselves. The Distinct Collection is a range premium rums, Distinct No 57 is a super-premium British white rum, whilst Distinct No 41 undergoes a triple-filtering process.

The packaging for this new collection uses an off the shelf bottle, and utilises various production techniques to elevate it to a more premium price point. The glass is transformed with a matt silver and frosted black spray and then screen-printed with the ‘filtration lines’ pattern and Distinct logotype. Labelling follows the same scheme and uses clear foils and varnishes over a metallic stock. The overall result doesn’t immediately look like rum, it looks distinctly different.
