With a range of shops across the Lake District and Yorkshire, Kindred Spirits offer an in-store spirits shopping experience where customers can ‘Taste & Explore’ the best of British Craft Spirits. Over a 3 year period I worked closely with the owners to develop their brand across in-store and online, as well as premiumising their packaging for the extensive product range

Key to this project was the creation of a bespoke illustration that depicts many of the flavours and botanicals you can expect to find when exploring the vast selection of spirits. This illustration became the focal point of their now flagship product, the ‘Bottle for Life’. Featuring a screen-printed design and interchangeable tag system the Bottle for Life brings the in-store experience to customers at home, allowing keep one bottle and re-order refill pouches.

In addition to packaging design, I worked with Kindred Spirits on two key areas of expansion for their business. The retail store experience and displays to be installed into key off-trade accounts. Bottle Wraps, Tasting Kits, Glassware Packs, Wooden Hampers, Re-fill Pouches were also designed and most recently the point-of-sale graphics for their Keswick store.

"Working with Ed is always a pleasure, he’s extremely talented at translating our jumbled ideas into a reality that far exceeds our expectations. The various applications of his skills are seemingly endless, having worked with us on brand development, packaging, store POS, website design and more. With Ed’s help we’ve transformed from a simple independent shop into a consistent, quality brand within our flagship store and online."
